How much do you charge for a project?
Our pricing is typically based on the volume of items you need to be removed. We’ll provide you with an upfront estimate before we start the job so you’ll know the cost in advance. If you’re needing to clearing an entire home or garage, with multiple items, we come to your property and provide an estimate at no charge.
Do you take donations?
We are not able to pick up items and take them to donation centers at no charge, but we do recycle and often donate items we clean-out whenever possible.
What areas do you service?
Jermaine’s Hauling has clients throughout Central Iowa from Ames to Indianola, and Panora to Newton. We typically serve 50 miles radius from Des Moines but often can take on large jobs throughout the state of Iowa.
Are you bonded and insured?
Jermaine’s Hauling is fully bonded and insured. A certificate of insurance is available on request.
How quickly can you send a truck out?
We are open 24/7 and most of the time we can provide same day service.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. We can often provide a quote over the phone! If your project is large, we will come out onsite and give you a no-obligation, no-cost estimate.
Do you remove items that are infested with rodents or insects?
Yes. We have removed items that have been infested by rodents, roaches, bed bugs and other hazardous conditions.
Are you local or a franchise?
Jermaine’s Hauling is proud to say we are locally and family owned and operated since 1993.
What types of payments do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as well as cash at the time of removal.
Do we have to move the items outside in order for you to haul them away?
No. We will come into your home, garage or yard and ask you to point to the items you want taken away. We make it easy!
Will you clear away items from storage units?
Yes. We clean out storage units. Stop paying to store stuff you don’t use! Call us and we’ll take care of it for you!
Are there items that you won’t take?
Items we do not remove include lawn debris such as soil, tree limbs and grass clippings. We also will not take concrete, brick or dirt.
Do you remove appliances?
Yes, we remove appliances. Our staff is trained to disconnect most appliances and to install utility caps for your safety until your new appliances arrive. In the event there is no shut off we would need to get your utility company involved.
